Web4WeB one stop shop (WP5)
From Web4WeB - Portal on Semantic web Technologies
The Web4WeB Semantic Web portal will be a central entry point for researchers and practitioners from Western Balkan countries where they can find information about Web4WeB project, about Semantic Web and other advanced Web technologies (web services, SOA, query languages, etc.). It will contain brief descriptions of these technologies in local languages, links to relevant Web sites and references of important journal, magazine and conference papers. It will provide infrastructure to share and exchange information based on Semantic Web technologies (ontology repositories, Semantic Web Services and rules, etc.).
The activities on WP5 include:
- Development and implementation of Semantic Web portal
- Creation and update of Semantic Web portal contents
- Implementation of groupware/collaboration features
- Implementation of mailing lists, discussion forums, etc.
- Implementation of ontology-based content management system
- Provision of illustrative case studies, best practice examples etc.
The demonstrators solving concrete business problems using Semantic Web technologies will be made available to all the researchers and practitioners from West Balkan countries.
